We listen. Understanding what is important to our customers while applying our experience to manage the demands of the supply chain (be it distributed or manufacturer direct) often results in Major Inc. being able to offer the solutions that best fit our customers’ needs.

Our technically oriented approach to business vastly differs from industry-standard valve supply houses and in most cases creates an integrated niche that benefits both the customer and the manufacturer alike. On the supply chain side, we recognize that a standard distributor puts in an inventory of certain manufacturers’ products and wins business based on having those products available immediately. From a manufacturing standpoint, we recognize that any given manufacturer wants to manufacture to a set production schedule and ship upon completion. On the other side of the coin, we recognize that our customers (be it OEMs or EP&Cs) must deal with many more variables in order to meet their commitments. Our forty years of experience in the energy markets have allowed us to forge many supply chain alliances while educating us to identify and eliminate the potential hurdles that can keep the customer from meeting their contracted requirements.

With over 26,000 distinct parts in our supply database of over 500 vendors, in all cases we continue to offer the flexibility to purchase materials that best suit our customers’ requirements. We focus on the importance of hitting our delivery schedules with full-time expeditors and a proprietary automated web-based material tracking and expediting system. Our in-house valve automation shop utilizes CAD capabilities to guarantee consistent and accurate quality control on our designed and machined automation packages. We also maintain a strict focus on quality throughout our business processes as we are both ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certified.
